SHE CONNECTS project is a yearlong commitment to Women’s Health and Wellbeing in the City of Knox. The project is designed to enhance women’s physical, mental and emotional wellbeing through a series of community building, information sessions, health checks, interactive workshops. Over the course of 10 months, the program will host one informative activity each month, creating a safe, supportive and empowering environment for women to connect, learn, thrive and foster a sense of belonging to their community.
This She Connects session will see you joining this mind-body practice that blends slow, continuous, flowing movements with deep, rhythmic breathing to cultivate, balance, and circulate the body’s vital energy, or “chi.” This moving meditation may incorporate elements of Tai Chi, Qigong, or yoga, and is designed to reduce stress, improve flexibility, and sharpen mental focus. If you withdraw from a class more that 5 business days before the start date, you will be eligible for a refund less a $10 administration fee.
