This course is for previous attendees of the morning writing class who have been preparing a portfolio of writing for publishing as a class anthology. You will be exploring editing guidelines to help you to polish up your writing gems until they sparkle. You will also practise using the track changes function in your word processing program, which will help you to work effectively with an editor – now and into the future. Getting Words on the Page

This course is for absolute writing beginners who would like to develop their writing skills. You will learn how to move through writer’s block and get your voice flowing onto the page. You will also learn basic principles of grammar to help you to improve your writing and make it easier to read and comprehend. There will be opportunities to explore creative writing, life writing and poetry. You will also be encouraged to read the writing of other writers and start to explore what makes reading appealing to you. Courses require minimum numbers to proceed. If we cancel a class you will receive a full refund.

If you withdraw from a class more that 5 business days before the start date, you will be eligible for a refund less a $10 administration fee.

No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made within 5 business days of the class start date.
