Information Sessions

Positive Aging Join our guest speaker from the Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC) Elder Abuse Response Services and Partnerships Team for an informative session exploring ageism and its impact on the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of older people. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of age-based discrimination, learn how to recognise and challenge ageist attitudes in everyday settings, and explore how ageism can increase vulnerability, including in situations involving elder abuse. The session will also highlight rights-based approaches to ageing and provide information about legal and community support services available when concerns arise.
